Pietrele Doamnei is a walk where the route and the destination become one. The forest opens gradually, and pale rocks rise above the hills as an impossible-to-miss landmark.

The rocks’ name is tied to a legend about Princess Elena, but the place is best known for its landscape: pale limestone and dwarf pine create one of the Rarău Mountains’ most recognisable scenes.
